Announcements

The 2010 Shining Star Awards Luncheon honoring both Shining Star Award winners and Stanislaus County Library Volunteers was held on Saturday, April 17 . This was a wonderful opportunity for the Library and the Foundation to say Thank You to individuals, a business, organization and Friends of the Library members for their support of the library. Winners were Harrison Gibbs and Susan Helm-Lauber from Turlock Friends, Stella Beratlis from Modesto Friends, Jim Sterling from Empire Friends and Dittos Printing, a local business.

The Library Foundations annual mail campaign is going strong, but we still need your help. Consider making a donation that will help benefit the many library programs or check out our Buy a Book program under Make A Difference which puts much needed books back on library shelves. We thank the many benefactors who have already donated to our Foundation.
